Linux is so much easier to engage with seriously for the first time when there’s a robot I can talk to that can fix all my problems.

Got a new SSD for my PC this week and will finally be moving to Linux now that I can run a dual boot setup.

Here’s hoping I don’t manage to break my PC in the process. 🤞🏼😌
the fact that I can just talk to my computer and then it goes and does the things I want will never cease to amaze me
Every time our fiber internet goes out I think back to the satellite internet I had growing up that would cut out if a big cloud passed overhead.

I wish I had even half that amount of patience for outages now, because this is ruining my day.

I just pulled a “you’re absolutely right!” in a work meeting.

I need to go touch some grass
Possible hail storms forecasted for my area later today. Hoping my garden makes it out alive 🤞😩
Every day I’m more and more convinced about how incredible the atmosphere is

My first and middle initials are AJ, and my first ever username online (runescape in ~2007) was Flybird. I used that across the internet for years and I wanted to keep a bit of that

One of those movies that’s so bad it is actually great, at least if you can appreciate it for what it is. Chic Woman and Horny Divorcee were my favorites.

Why are people so dead set on needing an edit button? Like it takes 5 seconds to repost or proofread before posting?

Everyone acts like the site is unusable without it

My first real experiences on the internet were had on forums in the early 2010's. They shaped much of my teenage years and then largely disappeared from my life. With atproto, could they make a comeback?
